Op zaterdag 16 november  is in het Rijksmuseum van Oudheden het 1-daagse symposium 'Learning and Teaching of Arabic in Early Modern Europe'.
In dit symposium (voertaal Engels) wordt  ingegaan op de methodes en het wetenschappelijk belang van de academische studie van het Arabisch in de 16e eeuw en later.

Toegang is gratis

On Saturday 16 November, the National Museum of Antiquities in Leiden will host the 1-day symposium 'Learning and Teaching of Arabic in Early Modern Europe'
This international symposium will explore and celebrate the methods, the scholarly significance and the institutional background of Arabic teaching and learning at early modern European academies and universities.
